Who are we

ENGL – European Network for Global Learning is a non-profit, non-governmental organization focused on promotion of social innovation, interdisciplinary dialogue around relevant global subjects and implemenation of integral methods of education and collaboration.

ENGL is an international network of professionals from variety of fields, who are dedicated to promoting and maintaining ENGL’s main framework; global education, interdisciplinary collaboration and citizen participation.

First steps toward today’s form and focus of this european network were made more than 10 years ago. Back then, individuals with diverse professional background came to the conclusion that new solutions are needed to address the challenges of a globally oriented yet insufficiently networked society. Soon, this informal collaboration group  became a springboard for developing new ideas, exchange point of views, information, best-practice, and share experiences. This network slowly became the place of birth of the current identity of the organization.

Today, ENGL is present and active in over 10 european countries, with wordwide partnerships with similar organizations. Our stakeholders are academics, educators, scientists, students, civil society activists, journalists, artists – people who believe that greatness of every collaboration lies in its diversity. Most of ENGL projects usually involve a great variety of participants who share with each other valuable experiences to reach a greater goal.

As primarily european network, ENGL is currently running projects from UK to Romania and supporting partner-organization’s projects in USA, Canada, Russia, Middle East and across Europe.

Headquarters of organization are located in Paris, France.
